- For us Architecture is not a profession, it is a love
and a lifestyle. We are not drawing for dollars, we
live for design. We only take on clients who are
sincerely interested in realizing a contemporary
design.
- In the US it is impossible to commercially design
good non-commercial architecture.
- Negative Cash Flow versus Life Cycle Costs;
Save on design, spend on building, and spend
even more on remodeling. Spend on design,
spend more on building and remodel less. Good
Architecture is expensive to design and build.
It requires less maintenance, and needs to be
remodeled less often. Sustainable and durable
materials are expensive to purchase but need
to be replaced less often. Remodeling and repair
are costly nuisances.
- Double Paradox;
Great Architects can’t write (see Corbu). Great
writers can’t design (see Koolhaas). Architects
are selected by how well they write. This better
be a badly written website.
